When Stormzy’s debut album 'Gang Signs & Prayer' dropped earlier this year, amidst the hard-hitting grime anthems, it was also "Blinded By Your Grace" parts 1 and 2 that immediately stood out.

In recent months, the sombre and hymnal second part, has taken on a new lease of life and Stormzy has now released a heartfelt video, igniting a campaign to land the coveted Christmas number one.

Sharing his faith as a Christian and journey with God across the track, Stormzy surrounds himself within a local London community and brings them all in on the occasion.

Two years ago, a viral campaign get Stormzy's "Shut Up" to Christmas No.1 fell short but did manage to lift a single that charted outside the Top 40 to No.8, some two months after release.

Ed Sheeran remains the clear frontrunner for the top spot but choosing to go with "Blinded By Your Grace Pt. 2," Stormzy reminds us all once more that he's writing his own rules upon the boundaries available to grime MCs, and he's currently on course to achieve his highest position to date.

Moments of the video were captured by the Nokia 8 smartphone.

Stormzy said: “The lyrics and what the song represents means a lot to me and I wanted to show a different side to my music. Having the platform to be able to bring people together to celebrate this through a song that is close to my heart and seeing people from every walk of life coming together to sing in the video, all in one place, has been an amazing experience. I found shooting through Nokia 8’s Bothie mode gave a new dimension to this video, and was a great way to show a true representation of the day on and off set, documenting different people’s experiences of the day.”
