Nike are dropping a new Mercurial to honour Black History Month 2018.
The release pays homage to the achievements of black athletes across all sports and beyond, with the Mercurial Vapor providing the canvas for the strong message of equality that the movement represents.
The EQUALITY Mercurial Vapor XI is predominantly black with waves on the upper inspired by the Pan-African flag. The word ‘EQUALITY’ will be emblazoned on the sock-liner of the boot, while a Black History Month logo will feature on the heel.
The boot will be debuted by Kevin Prince-Boateng on January 13th, before being worn by Dani Alves later that week.
The EQUALITY Mercurial Vapor XI drops to the public on January 15th.
