Former 8-time Olympic gold-medal winning sprinter and 100m world-record holder Usain Bolt has announced that he will be signing for a football team tomorrow.

Bolt has never made a secret of his passion for football, and it now looks like he'll finally get the chance to show off his skills alongside his blistering pace.

I've signed for a football team! Find out which one this Tuesday at 8am GMT ? pic.twitter.com/iFTlWxfy7x

The Jamaican is still sponsored by PUMA despite retiring from the track, so many people are assuming he'll be linking up with a club also sponsored by the brand. He's also only 31, so has plenty of time to make an impression in the game and plenty of athleticism left in the tank.

Speaking about getting into the game, Bolt said, "The injury is now fine and I'm back fully fit. In March we're going to do trials with Dortmund and that will determine what I do with that career, which way it goes. If they say I'm good, and that I need a bit of training, I'll do it."
