Arsenal are reportedly in "advanced negotiations" with adidas to sign a new mega kit deal.

According to a new report, the North London club are in talks with the German sportswear giant to sign a new £40 million per year kit deal that would see Arsenal make the switch from PUMA when the existing deal expires at the end of next season.

The deal is worth substantially more than than the current deal, valued at around £30 million per year, and any new contract with adidas would be valued higher or lower depending on whether Arsenal successfully regain their Champions League status.

Manchester United still run things when it comes to lucrative kit deals, with the Red Devils commanding a £75 million per year deal from adidas, and Chelsea not far behind with Nike, valued at around £60 million per year.

Could Arsenal do with the extra cash? And most importantly what would an Arsenal kit look like with adidas?

In more news from the red half of North London, ArsenalFanTV have just landed their very own show on Channel 4.
