Manchester City have just stepped out wearing their monochrome formal wear outfit for the 2018-2019 season.

Designed by high-end Italian fashion label Dqsuared2, City's new fits come out in a clean, blacked-out look, and comprises of tees, shorts, belts and bags - but it's the formal shoe and sock combo that's been causing a bit of a furore online, with a barrage of "they like they have forgot their PE trainers and forced to wear school shoes" tweets flooding the timeline yesterday.
