Late Toronto rapper Smoke Dawg has released his first posthumous single along with AJ Tracey and fire production from Murda Beatz.

At the start of July, Smoke Dawg was killed in Toronto and the rap game lost a bubbling talent with the world at his feet, but that hasn't stopped his family wanting his music he'd been working on to "live on forever." The Halal Gang rapper is joined on the track by none other than AJ from The Lane in the visuals, which follow the pair around Smokey's local Regent Park neighbourhood in Toronto.

Speaking on the release, AJ said, “This track means more than anything to me, because it's me and my bro in our element, and he's happy, genuinely happy. I know he loved this joint and I’m fuckin happy we can share this one moment in time we shared and capture it forever.”

All proceeds from the song and video will go to Smoke Dawg's family. Check out the new heater above.
