Mason Greenwood made history in Manchester United’s against-all-odds comeback against Paris Saint-Germain last night.

Needing one more goal to qualify, 17-year-old striker Mason Greenwood was subbed on in the 87th minute for his senior debut to become the club’s youngest ever Champions League player.

Greenwood has been a shining light in Manchester United’s youth teams this season, scoring 22 goals in 23 games, and is talked about as one of European football’s biggest prospects.

United ended the game against PSG – one of their biggest games in recent history – with four graduates from the club’s academy on the pitch, the biggest sign yet that Old Trafford’s new gen are primed to make an impact.

Mason Greenwood is ready to lead that wave.
