Liverpool are reportedly set to sign a long-term kit deal with Nike that would see them eclipse Man United‘s £750 million Adidas agreement on a new sponsorship deal that would be the biggest-ever deal made by a Premier League side.

With the club's New Balance deal set to expire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign, talks regarding an extension with NB and a switch to several other brands such as adidas and PUMA said to have already taken place.

Liverpool are currently earning £45 million a year with New Balance, and according to ESPN‘s Mark Ogden, Nike are the "front-runners" to secure the bag for The Reds.

Liverpool have been told that "the rarity of their kit deal" would see them command a larger fee than other Nike-sponsored Premier League teams such as Tottenham and Chelsea, with several high-profile Nike talent such as Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andy Roberson and Joe Gomez already Swoosh-signed.

Speaking in January, CEO Peter Moore confirmed the club were “entertaining offers” away from New Balance, with their aim to “build upon what we already have." This would be the first time Liverpool’s kit has been provided by Nike, with LFC owners keen on securing a kit deal which they reflects their status as an elite European club.

In other Nike news, Borussia Dortmund’s 14-Year-Old baller Youssoufa Moukoko has signed €1 Million Deal with the Swoosh brand.
