April 23rd 2019

Nigerian skateboarding collective WAFFLESNCREAM has tapped Patta for a fundraising collaboration to build Lagos’ first-ever skatepark.

The pair link up to create the “COMMON CAUSE” collection, a range that features graphic heavy shorts and tees with dual bradning, highlighting the union between the two brands. Each tee feaures the “Patta” and “WAFFLESNECREAM” logos on the front, while dual African and European flags are used to underscore the theme of unity in the capsule, with he back of each tee containing the phrase “DISTANT RELATIVES COMMON CAUSE” to drive it home.

Elsewhere, there’s a striped top and a pair of boxing shorts created with boxing brand Fairtex Muay Thai complete with ‘Lagos’ and ‘Naija’ branding and a unique emblem that are without doubt the strongest piece from the collection.
