FC Not Alone will be forming their own 11-a-side team ahead of the 2019/20 season, and are on the lookout for players ready to take part.

FC Not Alone was founded in 2018, recognising the unique power football has to bring young men together and get them talking about what really matters. All funds raised from the tournament went directly to CALM, and their work to reduce the stigma around male mental health.

Along with mental health charity CALM, FC Not Alone are doing vital work by recognising how sport is unique in its ability to unite people around mental health.

FC Not Alone reached out for players on their website, stating, "We are looking to build a team of football players that are proud to wear the FC Not Alone badge. When you wear the FC Not Alone badge, you must understand that you are representing a platform that promotes the idea that it is okay to not be okay.  We cast no judgement on mental illness. Although our players may not have suffered with mental health issues, the badge we wear still acts as a beacon of hope to anyone that has.

"In addition, over the next few months we will have opened more fun drop in and play sessions all around the UK. In these sessions, players from all walks of life can play football in a friendly and intimidating atmosphere. We have not yet decided which league we will be entering, we will however be playing in London.

"If you would like to play for the competitive FC Not Alone team, please email your name, position and bio to info@fcnotalone.com. Please also contact the same e-mail address if you are a coach or a videographer and would like to get in touch."

FC Not Alone will be holding trials in August for players to join their side. Make sure you hit up info@fcnotalone.com if you want to get involved in the set-up.

The club recently hosted the FC Not Alone x CALM World Cup, a charity tournament that brought together 36 amateur teams for a 7-a-side tournament that raised funds for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a charity that works to reduce male suicide, the biggest killer among young men under 45-years-old.
