Top Boy Will Be Getting a Soundtrack from Drake’s OVO Sound

Friday’s release of Season Three of Top Boy will be accompanied by a soundtrack inspired by the series curated by Drake’s OVO Sound label,

The official Top Boy Twitter and Instagram accounts shared the cover art for the project, which is set to contain “A selection of music inspired by the series.”

While there are no details regarding the project as of yet, you can expect to hear some heavy influence from Top Boy’s cast members Kano, Ashley Walters (Asher D), Dave, Little Simz, as well as the show’s executive producer, Drake.

Along with a number of songs that have defined UK rap over the past few years, hearing some brand new tracks from the artists involved is distinct possibility. OVO Sound Radio are renowned for playing exclusive unreleased material down the years, which has partly lead people to believe Dave’s long-awaited drill track could end up featuring on the project. News of a soundtrack for the third season of Top Boy comes almost a week after the cast and crew and many other big names in the scene pulled up to Hackney Central for the premiere, with the new season of the show is due for release worldwide on Netflix this Friday (September 13).
