After kicking off its celebration of Black History Month by dropping the jersey worn by England players during their EURO 2020 warm up games, Nike have now made the cold new jersey available to purchase.

Nike called on three of England’s most influential footballers in Raheem Sterling, Tammy Abraham, and Marcus Rashford to model the new jersey, which was then worn by the England senior men’s national team during the international camp this week.

The UK Black History Month kits, produced to celebrate black British athletes and their achievements in sport, arrive in two alternate colourways – one black and one white – which features glitched-out Swoosh graphics along the front and a wavey zig-zag pattern along the shirt’s sleeves.

Throughout the month, Nike will celebrate black British athletic performance and contribution to sport in a bespoke photography exhibition at NikeTown London. A partnership with Black In The Day will invite the community to share their stories through the brand’s 1948 space in Bateman’s Row, Shoreditch.

Nike will continue to create further dialogue and spark conversation by working with long-term partners such as Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur, The FA, The Premier League and more throughout Black History Month, with an aim to create pathways and opportunities for future generations for BAME youth in London.

Alongside this, Nike have continued their commitment to working with long-term partners such as youth football charity Football Beyond Borders, and Croydon boxing academy Gloves not Gunz. Nike will also be developing a partnership with Sported over the next 12 months – which will see them mentor 12 entrepreneurial young Londoners. You can apply to enter Sported here.
