Fresh from dropping off two clean throwback packs for AS Monaco and Real Betis, Kappa have linked up with Aston Villa to deliver more throwback heat for the club’s very own “Kombat XX” collection.

Using Villa’s claret and blue colourway on the same template of pieces they blessed Monaco and Betis with, Kappa reload the drip from the original “Kombat XX” collection, which launched in 2000.

The original Kombat jersey was the first skin-tight jerseys worn by professional clubs, created to stretch 40cm longer than normal jerseys. The legendary kits were worn by Monaco in their 1999-2000 Ligue 1 triumph before being donned by Italy between 2000-02.

Alongside the wavey Kombat XX shirts, the apparel range features a drippy throwback range which brings together two-tone collars, embroidered logos, and logo-heavy branding on two jerseys and a tracksuit for both clubs in Villa’s traditional home colours in a loose, laid back fit.
