While the specifics of the tournament are yet to be ironed out, some basic ground rules have been laid down by Orient.
Each club will choose a representative – whether it be a first-team player or a fan – for their team, and will rep their chosen team on FIFA. The tournament was previously set to host 64 teams, but has since expanded to 128 teams due to the demand from clubs all over the world.
Teams from 16 nations will take part in the inaugural version of the tournament, with clubs like Manchester City, SL Benfica, Red Bull Salzburg and AS Roma all taking part.
