Nike are about to unleash a wavey pair of Naija-style Air Max 95’s after the rampant success of the Super Eagles’ football shirts in the last few seasons.
The ‘Air Max 95 NAIJA’ is one of the cleanest 95 designs we’ve seen in a minute. Featuring a mosaic of Naija patterns running along the grooves on the 95’s upper, each section applies vibrant patterns and different textures to each of the outer layers, which all feature in varied shades of green.
The crazy upper sits on top of black midsoles, which are marked with matching green air units and toe caps in a similarly dark suede fabric. The tongues arrive in a ripstop material, while the lace loops feature saturated green webbing. The shoe also features some sick detailing in the form of a Nigeria Football Federation logo on the in-sole, paying homage to the nation which inspired a generation of iconic footballing style and swagger.
Expect the Nike Air Max 95 NAIJA to drop in the coming months. Keep it locked to VERSUS for more information on the release. Get a closer look at the model below.
