Burna Boy is set to co-headline the UEFA Champions League Final kick-off show at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on June 10, as millions of fans tune in for one of club football’s biggest matches.

Coming off the back of a record-breaking year, the Afrobeats megastar will bring his trademark energy and signature sounds to the biggest game in club football. The 'Last Last' star follows the likes of Dua Lipa and Camilla Cabello to have opened the Champions League final in recent years, as the competition takes inspiration from events like the Super Bowl in bringing together sport and culture.

Commenting on the news, Burna Boy said: "As a huge football fan myself, I know it doesn’t get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League! Music and football are the ultimate combination, so you already know I'll be bringing the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world ain't ready for what we have in store!”

Alongside the performance, the Grammy Award winning artist has teamed up with Pepsi Max ambassadors Leo Messi, Leah Williamson, and Vinícius Junior to encourage fans to showcase their skills on the pitch or the dancefloor and post them on TikTok. The best submissions will get the chance of a lifetime to perform during the show.
