Nike is matching the energy in 'her game' with the company’s most comprehensive women’s football collection in its history.

Backed by Nike’s largest ever investment in women-specific research, designers developed new performance to lifestyle apparel for the summer’s biggest sporting moment — all tuned to the unique needs of today’s powerful female footballers.

Following athlete feedback, Nike’s offering players the new Nike Leak Protection: Period innovation integrated into the Pro short they know and love, with athletes also being provided with Nike’s latest bra offering - allowing them to select the style and support level they are most comfortable in.

Nike worked closely with each federation - 13 in total -  to thoughtfully design its respective new National Team Collection - inclusive of kits and lifestyle apparel - in celebration of each federation’s rich culture.

As one of the host nations of tournament, it was only right that Nike had Australia stepping correct with their range. The Matildas' collection celebrates its diverse country and community, acting as an invitation to all Australians to join in and embrace this once-in-a-lifetime moment and iconic team.

The typography for both kits is a new and custom look, reflecting a modern twist on their traditional numbers whilst the team's instantly recognisable gold and green colours shine bright via the home kit's marbling design - synonymous with the nation's diverse, cultural makeup.

Fellow host nation New Zealand's collection also showcases the country’s unique culture and history, with its home kit paying homage to its landscapes via the Kiwis' Silver Fern, an all-over pattern created using black and silver spray paint techniques.

Meanwhile the Nigeria National Team Collection draws from the distinctiveness of the country’s local prints and patterns, with traditional designs blended and mixed with current styles from the fashion scene of the capital city of Abuja. In an electric green color scheme, the home kits features a bespoke pattern on the cuffs and sock ribbing, both inspired by traditional Nigerian artwork and textiles. The forest green away kits combines modern shapes with traditional prints; the up-close details on the graphic pattern pay homage to the team’s “Super Falcons” name.

National team kits and lifestyle capsules will be available to purchase via nike.com as well as selected retailers from 5 June.
