adidas Originals and Wales Bonner have revealed the latest extension of their ongoing collaboration: Land of Wood and Water.

The unisex collection focuses on the Caribbean, as the British designer explores the Trefoil’s lasting presence within Jamaican culture.

Featuring reimagined vintage silhouettes, the release includes tracksuits, sweater vests and an eye-catching silver anorak. The highlight, though, is undoubtedly the latest iteration of the widely-celebrated Wales Bonner Sambas.

The iconic silhouette comes in two distinct palettes: one in a neutral colourway with a nubuck upper, the other in stunning silver with crochet stripes.

The WB Sambas are accompanied by the South Londoner’s take on the SL72 – reimagined in two colourways with a knit upper.

Shot in Jamaica by twins Jalan and Jibril Durimel and styled by long-time WB collaborator Tom Guinness, the campaign mixes portraiture with dreamlike documentary imagery that brings the spirit of the island to life. Accompanied by a short film, the images work together to tell a story of people, place, and home.

The adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Spring/Summer 2023 collection is available globally on June 9th at adidas.co.uk, via Confirmed, and through select retailers.
