adidas and Arsenal have linked up once again with British designer Stella McCartney, for Arsenal Women’s bespoke away kit and travel range.
The limited-edition collection is designed to support Arsenal Women both on and off the pitch, and includes structured silhouettes in the form of a traditional performance jersey and shorts, as well as travel wear pieces ranging from a full zip-up jacket with neon accents to track-style pants, and an oversized T-shirt.
The hero piece of the collection, though, has to be the away shirt. Taking centre stage thanks to the fusion of geometric patterns with colour-blocking accents of halo pink and glow blue, the Gunners are going to stand out on the pitch when the 23/24 season kicks off.
The shirt also features AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking and absorbent materials to keep players feeling dry. And key pieces are crafted with at least 47% recycled polyester and 100% organic cotton as part of adidas’ ambition to help end plastic waste.
The away kit will be debuted on pitch when the Gunners take on Manchester United on October 8 in the WSL. It will be the first time in club history the team will wear a separate kit to their male counterparts; Arteta’s Arsenal will wear the gender-neutral jersey as a pre-match warm up top ahead of their Premier League game against Manchester City on the same day.
The range will be limited in quantity and available across adidas.com, in store, at Arsenal official club stores, Arsenal Direct and selected retailers from September 28.
