adidas just brought back its Fevernova football for futsal lovers, and this perfect remake will transport you back to summer 2002.
The Fevernova had every kid trying to bend it like Beckham on the playground, and adidas is restoring that feeling with a futsal rerelease of the 2002 World Cup match ball. The ball arrives in a light shade of gold, with that familiar three-sided motif taking centre stage in the in the “Met Champagne” colourway accented with gold, green with red details.
Taking the technology of adidas’ Sala futsal ball, the new Fevernova takes an indoor classic and ramps up the nostalgia factor. Designed for the courts, the ball has a low rebound to retain as much control as possible when mimicking Ronaldinho and Rivaldo.
adidas hasn’t revealed plans to release the updated Fevernova in a size 5 for those that prefer to kick ball on grass, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
The Fevernova Sala ball is available to purchase on the adidas website.
