About the Role

Location: London/WFH

Terms: Full-time permanent contract

VERSUS is the platform championing the future of football and its rising influence on culture and society.
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading on or supporting the development of our partnerships projects, coordinating editorial content, video/photo shoots and events with some of the world’s biggest sport and culture brands. This position requires someone with excellent communication and organisational skills with a clear understanding of how to manage a project from start to finish. You’ll need a clear eye for detail and to be confident in your ability to work with multiple internal and external teams/stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and delivery of our commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Leading or supporting on the end to end project management of our commercial partnerships and white label work, including video shoots, stills shoots, experiential work, paid media work
  • Producing and maintaining key project management resources/processes for each project, including project plans, project timelines, asset/file libraries, internal budget documents, talent databases etc. 
  • Managing the budget for each project and ensuring this is updated, tracked and kept in line with internal targets/allocations, identifying any areas of potential overages and ensuring no costs or expenses are missed 
  • Manage all project communications, including email correspondence, organising/leading calls, and ensuring all other teams are kept up to date on relevant information
  • Overseeing all departments working across each project, both internal and external teams (including freelancers and external agencies). This includes briefing all departments on the project of the required deliverables, assigning the relevant responsibilities, setting deadlines, collating assets, and ensuring each team member is on track to deliver on time 
  • Working closely with the creative team (editorial, social or production) to ensure campaign creatives are staying on brief and within budget & brand guidelines
  • Lead the delivery of all project media, primarily across editorial and social channels (Web, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube/Google, Snapchat) including setting up and managing paid social and ensuring all media plan deliverables are produced and delivered on time 
  • Producing end of campaign reports and insights, including post-campaign analysis presentations, pulling data from multiple sources (Social platforms, Excel reports etc.)
  • Supporting on pre-sale planning including creating media plans, coordinating campaign deliverables and reviewing internal budgets before new proposals are sent

Key skills and requirements

  • 3-5+ years in project management or a similar role (candidates with relevant experience at a digital publisher or within sports media are preferred but this is not essential)
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills and confidence in building relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation skills with the drive to increase efficiency of processes across a project and within the business
  • Great teamwork skills and high levels of adaptability, being able to work flexibly with internal and external teams to deliver project deliverables
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and competing campaigns effectively 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel/Google Sheets, including creating Gantt charts, managing budget documents, and creating reports/graphs
  • Ability to create presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) is highly desirable but not strictly required. Internal support can be given
  • Strong knowledge of using internal systems for project management processes (e.g. internal booking systems, Monday.com, Slack) 
  • Strong knowledge of paid social setup and management (Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat)
  • Knowledge of using Mac OSX and Google Suite is preferable (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
