Music ticketing app DICE have announced the nominees for this year's DICE Live Award, given to their choice of the best emerging act in the UK & Ireland.

Canvassing votes from 100 top journalists, promoters, broadcasters and venues, previous winners of the award include Lil Simz in 2015 and Loyle Carner who picked up the award last year.

A stellar foursome in the running this year sees south London rhymer Dave joining Manchester rapper IAMDDB, alongside singer-songwriter Rex Orange County and electronic DJ duo Bicep.

Russ Tannen, Head of Music at Dice said of the award: "We started the DICE Live Award in 2014 because we wanted to go to The Old Blue Last for some beers. The nominees that year were Rag’n’Bone Man, Royal Blood, Slaves and the winners Wolf Alice, they’ve all done OK since."

Stay tuned to DICE for more details, with the winner being announced on 5th December.
