It's been quite the week for east London rapper Ms Banks.

After Nicki Minaj shouted her out and quoting her lyrics on Twitter, the US lyricist pledged to take her on tour later this year – so it's probably a good time for Ms Banks to remind the last few doubters what she's capable of, on "Bangs".

Speaking with The Fader on the new single, Banks described the inspiration behind the song:

“You know that moment when you're lit enough that everything just BANGS... and then you realise you didn't always have it like that... yeah this is that amazing feeling in a tune".
