Olympique Lyonnais have just signed 18-year-old Tottenham striker Reo Griffiths, who has just signed a four-year deal with Les Gones.

The Londoner leaves his hometown club on a free transfer (with six years of compensation still to be paid) after notching 27 goals in 20 matches for the U18 side last season.

Griffiths is one of the most highly-rated prospects in Europe, and becomes the latest young Englishman seeking to develop their career and get more game time by plying his trade abroad. He'll head straight into Lyon's reserve team next season.

Capable of playing anywhere in attack Griffiths has got pace to burn, and has torn it up at every age level in the Spurs' academy. Lyon's academy is renowned for being one of the best in the business, and the young lion has left plenty of Spurs' fans screwing with his move away, with him being highly rated by fans and inside the club.
