Mixtape Madness have just dropped off the fourth and final episode from Season 3 of their ‘Beat The Clock’ series in partnership with adidas Originals, which celebrates the launch of the latest ZX silhouette.

As part of the series, Mixtape Madness host Walkz has been asking the UK’s most on-point producers to create heat in the studio with just three samples to select from. Each producer lays out their track in real time on-screen while under the tight, fifteen-minute time limit of the challenge – with Nyge, CeeBeaats and S-X having already stepped up to set the levels at the iconic Metropolis Studios.

The final episode features one of UK rap’s best beatsmiths – Grammy-award-winning, multi-platinum selling producer, JAE5 – who delivers the greatness we’ve all come to expect from him. With UK classics such as Dave and Burna Boy’s “Location”, J Hus’ anthemic “Did You See” and NSG’s all-time banger “Options” in his arsenal, there was never going to be any doubt about the quality on display in this episode, which you can tune into above.

But it’s not just established hitmakers who can take on the challenge. Up-and-coming creators are encouraged to freestyle over each beat using hashtag #BeatTheClockChallenge on TikTok.

The new season of #BeatTheClock was created by Mixtape Madness in partnership with adidas to honour the latest releases of the ZX franchise. Check them out here.
