Images via Places+Faces PLACES + FACES have a new capsule on the way, and this one is perfect for the nostalgic football enthusiasts. The ‘Worldwide’ capsule features two new football kits, inspired by two European giants’ World Cup jerseys from the ‘90s: France and England. A clear recreation of Les Bleus’ 1998 home kit fronts the capsule, with the brand’s name filling the thick, red stripe placed across the jersey’s front – donned by one of North West London’s favourite rappers, AntsLive. And instead of adidas’ iconic Three Stripes decorating the shoulders, the label’s ‘+’ symbol is repeated down the sleeves. England’s 1994 World Cup kit serves as a base for P+F’s second design, with the simple white shirt featuring the brand’s cherub motif as a centre badge. The original jersey’s Three Lions insignia found on the V-neck collar is instead replaced with ‘P+F’, a clear nod to the London label. In addition to the kits, multiple country-specific baby tees are available to purchase capitalising on the Brazil hype – Nigeria, France, England and a P+F tee complete the collection. The new capsule is available to purchase from Friday, 10 November on the PLACES + FACES website.Take a closer look at the collection below.
