The BET Awards have announced the nominees for their annual BET Awards and a host of the UK's biggest artists are up for big prizes

Dave and Giggs are now firmly internationally artists and ar e Best International Act category. Also competing for the award is Nigeria's Burna Boy.

Headie One has had a mad ascendancy in the last few years, and is now getting international acclaim – he's up for Best New International Act, alongside Octavian, who has linked up with big US acts Diplo and A$AP Ferg.

The winners will be revealed on June 23 when the 2019 BET Awards Ceremony takes place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The full list of nominations are below.

Best international act: AKA (South Africa); Aya Nakamura (France); Burna Boy (Nigeria); Dave (U.K.); Dosseh (France); Giggs (U.K.); Mr Eazi (Nigeria).

Best new international act: Headie One (U.K.); Jok'Air (France); Nesly (France); Octavian (U.K.); Sho Madjozi (South Africa); Teni (Nigeria).
