New Balance just brought back the NB 1000, and as the brand’s latest ambassador, Dave fronted the y2k classic’s 2020s comeback campaign.

The New Balance 1000 was first released in 1999, and the return of the early 2000s trainer was teased in a short clip starring none other than Santan himself. A street-race for the metallic, futuristic sneakers is run by Dave, with the shoes dangling in front of the camera as the rapper counts down for the contestants.  

The light-hearted video is accompanied by imagery, featuring the rapper rocking the new sneakers paired with New Balance threads. 

This isn’t the first time Dave has linked up with the American brand. He debuted a New Balance x Stone Island collab kit in 2022 during his annual Santan Cup tournament. As an official brand ambassador, the possibilities for future collaborations are endless.

The New Balance 1000 will be available to purchase on the New Balance website and select retailers starting April 24.
