As voted for by 100 industry tastemakers, venues, promoters and journalists, south London rapper Dave was last night crowned the recipient of this year's DICE Live Award.

Seeing off competition from nominees IAMDDB, Rex Orange County and duo Bicep, the teenager joins an illustrious list of past winners including Little Simz, Wolf Alice and Loyle Carner.

DICE Head of Music, Russ Tannen said:

“We give The DICE Live Award to the best emerging Live Act in the UK & Ireland and Dave’s rise this year sums up the definition of an emerging artist. He’s made the small trip yet massive journey from Camden Assembly to KOKO in the space of just 12 months."
