Dave is close to securing the number one album in the country with his exceptional debut LP, 'Pyschodrama' – but it's going to be close.
Santan made history when he landed his first-ever Number 1 single back in October 2018 with his Fredo-featuring banger "Funky Friday", and the 21-year-old is now plotting the same feat for his debut album.
According to the Official Charts website Dave currently has the three highest new entries in the Official Chart Update from 'Pyschodrama': "Disaster" ft. J Hus is currently at 7, "Streatham" is close behind at 8, and "Location" ft. Burna Boy just outside the Top 10 at 11.

Dave has just taken to Twitter to ask fans to stream his era-defining album, as it is within a few thousand units away from landing the top spot. Should Dave land top spot, the feat would be another huge moment for the scene, an make 'Psychodrama' the first UK rap album since Stormzy's 'Gang Signs and Prayer' to finish at Number 1.
Dave's debut plays out as a dialogue between the Streatham-born artist and his psychotherapist which allows Dave to fully flex his musical dexterity. From start to finish, it's an accomplished, game-changing record, which features Dave's unparalleled story-telling, original concept and cutting wordplay into a slickly-executed, 11-track package.
Complete with introspective lyrics that deal with Dave's back story, identity, and social-realism, 'Pyschodrama' is a straight-up special LP – so make sure you stream it in full below, and secure Santan a richly-deserved Number 1 album.
