Leon Bailey has accepted an international call-up from Jamaica.

The Bayer Leverkusen winger, who has become hot property over the past couple of seasons, has ended all speculation about where his national team allegiances lie and committed to a future with Jamaica.

Having represented Jamaica under-23s back in 2015, Bailey told Kicker he has "personal problems" with the Jamaican football association when he was younger, and was refusing their call-ups to the national team.

Rumours swirled that the winger would be eligible for England as he has two grandparents who have British citizenship, however as neither were born in England, he couldn't have represented them.

Bailey will now likely make his debut for the senior Jamaican national team in their upcoming CONCACAF Nations League match against Bonaire on 14th October.

In related news, Umbro have delivered the heat for Jamaica’s 2018/19 shirts.
