Conor McGregor's lead trainer John Kavanagh has announced that a new documentary on the Irishman's historic fight against Floyd Mayweather is getting turned into a Netflix special.

Kavanagh has touted the upcoming doc to be a three-part Netflix special, which is set to include the full unreleased footage between 'The Notorious' infamous sparring footage with former World Champion Paulie Malignaggi and the 12 rounds of the highest-grossing bout of all time.

Speaking to the Joe Rogan experience, Kavanagh said, “I think there’s something being released on Netflix soon, a documentary around that fight. It will have all the rounds – the 12 rounds, as far as I’m aware."

Kavanagh also unveiled that the 12 round close-up documentary contains plenty of trash talking between the pair during the fight, "And I’ll say contest because it wasn’t a spar, they were talking the whole time. They were talking the whole time, Paulie was talking to me, he was talking to the cameraman. He was almost better than Conor at it, it was great to watch."
