Conor McGregor is already plotting his son's world domination.

The UFC lightweight champion made his first public comments since the 'Money Fight' with Floyd Mayweather at an 'Audience with Conor McGregor' event in Glasgow last week – and the future of Conor Jnr was up for discussion.

McGregor revealed that he's already training his five-month-old son with a view to him competing inside the ring when he's older:

"I have a son now. When he grows up I'm going to put him into sport. I believe sport is the best thing you can do.

I've already begun training him. He's already leaps and bounds ahead of schedule. He's only five months old. He can stand balance on his feet. I have this little method where I have him doing a squat.

I've been doing little things like that and that's from the bell, from day one. It's like a blank canvas. I think I'm going to raise a special special young boy whose going to go on and achieve great things."

Conor Junior was only born in May but had a ringside seat for his father's fight with Floyd Mayweather in August.

During the Q&A with fans in Glasgow, McGregor also claimed he'd beat Floyd Mayweather if the two ever had a rematch and revealed there's currently no plans for him to return to UFC before the end of 2017.
