Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has been nominated for the Bundesliga's Rookie of the Year award.
The 19-year-old spent the entire 2018-19 campaign on loan at German side Hoffenheim after a deadline day move in August. After being made to wait for his debut, Nelson scored with his first shot in a Hoffenheim shirt – scoring a brace in his next appearence against Nurnberg – and went on to score four goals in five Bundesliga appearances.

Nelson featured five times in the Champions League before Hoffenheim's exit in the group stage and ended up scoring 7 times in 23 league appearences, with his performances earned him a call-up to the England Under-21 squad and he made an instant impact, where he also scored on his debut.
He is joined on the shortlist by Dortmund full-back Achraf Hakimi, on loan from Real Madrid, and Watford loanee Dodi Lukebakio, who has been enjoying a fine run of form at Fortuna Dusseldorf. Stuttgart duo Nicolas Gonzalez and Ozan Kabak, Frankfurt defender Evan N'Dicka and RB Leizpig's Matheus Pereira make up the seven-man list.
