Images via adidas adidas and Arsenal have unveiled a new collaboration with club legend Ian Wright in honour of his 60th birthday, marking the milestone with a Wrighty-inspired capsule.The collection is made up of a pre-match jersey, a reversible anthem jacket and a crossbody bag. A black and white, bandana-esque, hand-drawn graphic illustrates each piece, depicting memorable moments from Wright’s life and career. The club’s crest and adidas logo stand out in gold against the monochromatic design.Illustrations of people close to the Arsenal legend also feature in the collection – David Seaman’s ponytail is in full-view, as well as Kelly Smith and David Rocastle. The collaboration is accompanied by images featuring Arsenal figureheads of past and present. Wright is joined by Seaman and Smith, as well as Katie McCabe, Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus, Kim Little, David Raya and Gabriel Magalhães – all styled by the man himself.The collection is available to purchase on the adidas website, Arsenal’s online store and select retailers.Take a closer look at the capsule below.
