Arsenal fans nationwide are flocking to Twitter to celebrate the arrival of Nicolas Pépé from Lille in a £72 million move.
After previously being believed to only have a meagre transfer budget of just £45 million, Arsenal blew everyone out of the water and smashed their transfer record to sign the Ivorian and create one of the most deadly-looking front threes in world football.
The payment – €80m which is reportedly structured over the next five seasons – will see the 24-year-old earn around £90,000 a week and wear the vacant number 19 shirt at the Emirates. Check out a highlight reel of the young baller saucing up Ligue 1 below.

Speaking about the move, Pépé said, "When I knew I was coming to Arsenal, I immediately thought of the French guys who play here. I thought of Özil, the world champions, Lacazette, Aubameyang and many more."
