Manchester United have officially announced the signing of 21-year-old attacker, Daniel James.

United signed the Welshman on an £18 million fee, with £3 million add-ons, on a five-year contract that has an option for sixth year

The young baller is blessed with ridiculous speed and enjoyed a solid season at Swansea last year, tearing up the left flank and firing in five goals in 38 appearances during his breakthrough 2018-19 season.

James, who had a loan spell at Shrewsbury ended after making no appearances for the club back in August 2017 was ecstatic with the move,  "This is one of the best days of my life," James said, "I’m very proud to join the biggest football club in the world. This is a new and exciting chapter in my life and I can’t wait to get started. Thank you to everyone who has shown faith in me. Hard work starts now!"

It's Ole Gunner Solskjaer's first signing as United boss, and he labelled his new player as "an exciting young winger with lots of skills, vision, exceptional pace and a good work ethic."

In other football news, Kylian Mbappé scored his 100th career goal at 20 years of age.
