EA Sports just unveiled FIFA 21 to the world, confirming it will land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - and the good news is you won’t need to buy the game again if you get it on Xbox One or PS4 first.

With elite baller Kylian Mbappé featuring heavily in the first gameplay trailer – and widely rumoured to be the game's new cover star – FIFA 21 utilises the power of next gen consoles.

Player and environment visuals are taken to new levels  to create the best looking football video game of all time, with early screenshots show stunning on-pitch action featuring PSG, Liverpool and Man City, and a beautifully-detailed shot of Anfield.

FIFA 21 drops on PS4 and Xbox One worldwide on October 9th - with a next gen release date TBC – with reports suggesting that you won't need to buy the game a second time once you've copped on PS4 or Xbox,

Gameplay details are slim right now but EA will drop more info on Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs and more in the run up to release date. Check out a trailer for the new game below.
