Daily Paper recently went back to the motherland to unite their creative community by hosting a football tournament held at the Accra Senior Girls School football pitch.

The Amsterdam streetwear imprint previously helped build a football pitch together with Puma project back in 2017, and they wasted no time in pushing the mission to support the development of sport amongst young footballers and empowering them for the future.

Returning to the exact football pitch they helped build, Daily Paper invited extended friends and family to take part in the tournament, with each team donning a wavey, custom made football shirt designed in collaboration by Daily Paper and PUMA.

Alongside Daily Paper, the line-up of teams included the following African creatives and athletes such as La Meme Gang, Free the Youth, Starboy, Eunice Beckmann and Melanin Unscripted. Check out the best of the action in the visuals above and @Blackimagegh and @Packagestudios-shot photography below.
