The Premier League have announced the fixture list ahead of the 2019/20 season, and the opening day sees Liverpool host Norwich on Friday Night Football and reigning champions Manchester City head to West Ham.

Chelsea face Manchester United on the opening day of the season, while Spurs host newly-promoted Aston Villa, and Arsenal play Rafa Benitez's Newcastle side at St James' Park.

After Gameweek 1, City then head to the London Stadium with a home match against Tottenham before playing Bournemouth, Brighton, Norwich and Watford. Liverpool's opening fixtures after Norwich see them play Southampton, Arsenal, Burnley, Newcastle and Chelsea.

The run-in seems to favour City, who face teams who finished in the bottom half last season in their final six matches, following a visit of Liverpool to the Etihad. Jurgen Klopp’s side is substantially harder, as they have home games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle as their final three fixtures of their campaign.
