After rumours circulated late last year, Amazon Prime have now confirmed they’re releasing a documentary series on Newcastle United’s 2022/23 season.

Titled ‘We are Newcastle United’, the Magpies join Manchester City, Spurs, and Arsenal in the list of Premier League clubs that have been made the subject of a Prime Video series, taking fans behind-the-scenes of a historic season on Tyneside.

The four-part series will tell the story of the club’s history, how they qualified for the Champions League, and the impact off-pitch decisions will have on the club’s trajectory in years to come.

As well as interviews with players and manager Eddie Howe, CEO Darren Eales and co-owner Amanda Staveley will also feature, with the series narrated by club legend Alan Shearer.

The first episode airs on Friday 11th August when the 23/24 Premier League season kicks off, with the remaining three episodes set to be released weekly through to September 1st.
