Folarin Balogun Bagged a Hat-Trick for Arsenal in the First Round of PL2 Fixtures

18-year-old baller Folarin Balogun bagged a hattrick for Arsenal’s U23 side in the opening round of PL2 fixtures, with Spurs heading to the top of the league after cheffing up Liverpool in their biggest Division 1 win since March 2017.
Spurs and Liverpool kicked off the PL2 season on Friday and Spurs immediately laid down their title credentials with a thumping 4-0 victory. Kazaiah Sterling bagged two, with Shillow Tracey and Tasham Oakley-Boothe completing the scoring against a Liverpool side that featured Harvey Elliott, Rhian Brewster and Ryan Kent.
Arsenal played a strong side to dispatch Blackburn 3-1, with Rob Holding playing a vital 63 minutes in the bank as he stepped up his recovery from a long-term knee injury. Balogun, who bagged 25 goals in 19 games last season, scored two penalties and the rebound from a third in the tie to get his campaign up and running.
Manchester City and Southampton played out a mazzer in their opening fixture of the season, with Saints scoring three late goals to hand them the W in their opening fixtue, with striker Daniel N’Lundulu scoring the pick of the bunch with his 93rd-minute winner.
