Moise Kean is about to drop his debut album ‘CHOSEN’, announcing the project on Instagram alongside a tracklist.
The album, dropping on December 16, features 11 songs, with features from Stunna, Sey_Blessed and Elena Manuele.
Kean has slowly been building the blocks for this release over the years, so the announcement comes as no surprise. The Fiorentina frontman has been active in the world of music since 2019, starring in one of Turin-based rapper Boro Boro’s music videos.
Last year, he released his debut single, ‘OUTFIT’ as part of a rap group called 19F. If the song’s seamless flow of English and Italian bars are anything to go by, this album will be on repeat for a while.
Though a number of players have started making and releasing their own music – from Alex Iwobi to Stefan de Vrij – Kean joins a select few ballers to drop a full-length album. One of two, to be exact.
Rafael Leão dropped his first studio album ‘Beginning’ in 2021, and another last year under the name Way 45. Having amassed a large cult following on his separate music socials, this is only the beginning for the AC Milan star. The same can be said for Kean.
More and more players are exploring their interests off the pitch, and more notably, sharing those interests with their fans. The culture around football is shifting in an exciting, new direction, and ballers like Kean are at the forefront of that change.
With more ballers taking their talents to the studio, who’s going to be the first one to win a Grammy?
