DJ duo Chase & Status are the new official sponsor of West London grassroots team Hammersmith FC, and to kick off the new partnership, Kappa have launched a limited-edition kit.

Merging football, music and fashion, the club’s new home and away kits arrive in red and blue, with ‘Chase and Status’ printed across the chest in gold lettering. The red home kit is clean and simple, with Kappa’s trademark Omini tape logo decorating the burgundy shoulders in gold. 

The blue away kit takes Hammersmith FC’s hammers and horseshoe logo, overlapping and repeating it to create a kaleidoscope-like tonal design to form the shirt’s base. A deeper shade of blue outlined in gold makes the shoulders stand out in a similar fashion to the red jersey.

Hammersmith FC founder Tommy Fish said: “It’s a game-changer to tell our story alongside these legends and heavyweights of the dance music scene. And to partner with Kappa, for me, the ultimate vintage football streetwear brand, couldn’t be more fitting.

Music, football and fashion cross over so much. To be able to work with these guys to create kits and content, amplify our club’s successes, and grow together is a dreamland for us. The fact that they’re local lads and that they want to support grassroots, and in particular, women’s football, is a real credit to them.”

The West London club’s men’s and women’s teams will wear the kit starting in the 2024 season, and after both sides won back-to-back league titles, they’ll be looking to stay on top in their new gear.
