Luckily for you, the VERSUS crew have put their heads together and come up with a selection of the best product the football culture market has to offer. We've got things to wear, things to read, things to step into and things to sip from. All bases covered.

Have a scroll whilst you're waiting for the early kick-off to start.

N.B. Money spent before 9am doesn't count.

1. NIGERIA ESSENTIAL JACKET
£109.95, nike.com

Nike and Naija are an all-time combo and the drop for this year’s tournament is no different. As well as a strong pair of jerseys, the collection features this screamer of a jacket. Tonal colour palette, bold all-over print and more swooshes than a StockX event. It’s a ‘yes’ from us.

2. CHERN’EE SUTTON BARK CANVAS
£160, cherneesutton.com

Chern’ee is an Aboriginal artist who was commissioned by FIFA to create part of the tournament’s branding. You can buy an original piece of her beautiful work on canvas, easel or, if you like, on bark. Look, it’s an emu.

3. OAKELY BXTR METAL
£170, oakley.com

We’re still riding that Euros wave. You know the one. Think: Lucy Bronze and Georgia Stanway donning ski goggles to cover those ‘tired’ eyes *wink* in Trafalgar Square. Recreate that moment with these bad boys.

4. YARDSALE PIZZA X BALLER FC TEE
£20, ballerfc.com

YSP x Baller FC have teamed up for this pizza goodness…geddit? All proceeds from the ‘In Sarina We Crust’ tee will be donated to football charity Goals4Girls, to help support them on their mission to get more girls playing the beautiful game.

5. A WOMEN’S GAME BY SUZANNE WRACK
£9.99, foyles.co.uk

Simply one of the best books about women’s football ever produced, written by one the UK’s best-ever football writers. In a feminist history of the game in Britain, Wrack considers where women’s football has been and where it should go next. Essential reading for this summer.

6. AMBUSH NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO
£150, nike.com

In the office earlier this week we played a spirited game of: ‘WWC Players as Creps’. After a couple of strong shouts (Guro Reiten / Reebok Club C, Millie Bright / adidas Gazelle) the eventual winner was the Queen of Aus, Sam Kerr, as these bouncy Uptempos. Shooting or hooping. We don’t care. They’re solid stompers.

7. ROW-Z X CFS DROP
Various, classicfootballshirts.co.uk

Our friends over at Row-Z have teamed up with Classic Football Shirts to create a collection of bespoke reworked pieces in celebration of the WWC. They’ve mashed together damaged CFS stock to create a set of icey one-of-ones. Don’t sleep.

8. JILL SCOTT MUG
£10.99, etsy.com

What better way to wake up for early morning football than with a Jill Scott-approved home blend? Feet up, hot cup in hand, noiseless curses screamed into the faces of the opposition. It’s almost like she’s in the room with you at 6am.

9. JAPAN AWAY JERSEY
£110, adidas.com

The Three Stripes really went crazy with their WWC away strips. Taking inspiration from the unique natural landscapes of each nation, the shirts take visual cues from deserts, forests, coral reefs and more. This Japanese kit is based on the sunrise at Mount Fuji. Kawaii.
