In an unprecedented move for São Paulo Fashion Week, celebrated label PIET unveiled their latest collection at the iconic Estádio do Pacaembu.
4,000 fans were invited to witness the unveiling of the SS25 'Farmers League Collection', which featured dozens of football-inspired looks as well as pieces from the PIET x KidSuper collaboration debuted earlier this year.
Founded by Pedro Andrade in 2012, PIET has been a trailblazing force in Brazilian streetwear ever since. The label's new collection can only be described as a love letter to the beautiful game, with jackets, hats, socks and scarves were reinterpreted from the terraces for the runway.
Going deep into the archives for this drop, the Paulistano label reference old England sponsors, niche Champions League graphics and Brazilian icon Kaka in the pieces created by Andrade and his team.
Highlights of the collection include a pair of leather black derbys (a-la Samuel Falzone), pre-mudded denim pieces and a short sleeve shirt with panelling taken straight from Brazil's iconic 2002 World Cup shirts. This was fashion unashamedly in love with football, from a design team intimate with the visual history of the sport.
The PIET SS25 'Farmers League' collection is available to pre-order via their website now.
