Walthamstow FC new home and away kits for the 2023/24 season pay homage to a local icon, collaborating with the William Morris Gallery to introduce the influential artist’s textile designs to the world of football.

Both jerseys incorporate Morris’ Yare textile pattern. The home kit alters the design to reflect the club’s colours, recreating the blossoming design in various shades of blue. The away kit and warm-up jacket, however, are exact replicas, with light-coloured leaves and flowers repeated against a dark background.

The William Morris Gallery serves as a shirt sponsor, with the museum’s logo in the centre of the kit. Other shirt sponsors include local brewery Exhale, as well as charities Wood Street Walls and No Place for Hate.

The kits are a representation of Walthamstow’s history and the club’s local community. In partnership with Wood Street Walls, Walthamstow FC is giving back to the community and developing the future of the club. A portion of the shirt’s sales will go towards creating a women’s team for the borough.

The jerseys are available to purchase on Pro Direct Soccer and the William Morris Gallery’s website.
