Tuttosport’s European Golden Boy Award longlist has just been announced.
The list contains the likes of recent England debutant Trent Alexander-Arnold, highly-rated Ajax centre back Matthijs De Ligt and recent Roma signing Justin Kliuvert, but the standout name is undoubtedly Kylian Mbappe – who looks set to win the award for the second year on the bounce.
There are some notable absentees in the form of Rhian Brewster, Juventus’ Moise Kean, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon – who will no doubt all be in contention next season.
Tuttosport have named just under 100 nominees for the 2018 Golden Boy award.
