Romelu Lukaku has linked up with one of Belgium's biggest rappers to drop a track paying homage to his come up, in collaboration with PUMA.

Lukaku connected with TheColorGrey – a childhood friend who is also from Antwerp – to drop "New Levels", a melodic rap track with lyrics inspired by Lukaku's rags to riches story.

As the first Premier League player to sign to Roc Nation Sports, Lukaku is better placed than most to step inside the studio and while he doesn't directly step up to the mic in "New Levels", footage direct from the studio has shown him rapping a cover of Jay Z's "D'Evils" from Jigga's 1996 debut album, 'Reasonable Doubt'.

Speaking on the connect with TheColorGrey, Lukaku said:

"The reason why I've wanted him on the song is because I've known him for a long time. I know what his music is about...for me, he's the most successful Belgian rapper."

"New Levels" is available to hear now on all streaming platforms.
