PUMA has turned the clock back to the 90s and 00s to bring back an original football-fashion icon: the PUMA King Indoor sneaker.
The PUMA King Indoor was first launched back in 1999 and had the streets – and futsal pitches – on lock from day 1. It acted as a muse to both the worlds of fashion and football since its debut, and this has continued long after production halted in 2015.
Now, a decade since we last saw it, the King is back on the throne and it’s never looked better.
The reissued King Indoor sneakers feature the same premium, stitched leather upper as they did 20 years ago, complete with the iconic foldover tongue with gilded details.
To mark the occasion and pay tribute to the iconic football-fashion of its time, VERSUS and PUMA linked up to produce a new lookbook inspired by the timeless style of European ballers in the 00s.
The sneakers arrive in the King’s classic black and white, as well as a crisp, all-white colourway. A contrasting gum sole completes the classic design, taking it from pitch to street seamlessly.
The PUMA King Indoor is available at puma.com and selected retailers.
